With your own AI agent
If you already use an AI agent in the terminal, it can work on the other computer through FeuSh. There are two ways.
Recommended: MCP (feu mcp)
Section titled “Recommended: MCP (feu mcp)”feu mcp gives the agent five tools: exec, screenshot, put, get and disconnect. It also keeps the session open: the password and the approval happen once, and later commands don’t connect again.
Claude Code
claude mcp add feush -- feu mcpHermes (in ~/.hermes/config.yaml, then restart Hermes)
mcp_servers: feush: command: feu args: [mcp] timeout: 750 # a command can take up to 600 s, plus approval and connectingAny other agent with stdio MCP: the command is feu mcp. Add --local to use only the local network.
Put the password in the FEU_PASSWORD variable when you start the server, so it isn’t written in the conversation with the agent. It only opens the session, it changes every time the other person shares, and it’s useless without their approval.
Without MCP: feu exec
Section titled “Without MCP: feu exec”feu exec is a normal command: it runs something on the other computer and returns its output and exit code. Any agent that can run terminal commands can use it.
feu exec <ID> --json "Get-Printer"With --json the answer comes in one line, without notices mixed in:
{ "stdout": "…", "stderr": "…", "exit_code": 0, "truncated": false, "timed_out": false }If FeuSh itself fails, the exit code tells what happened. See Troubleshooting.
What the other person sees
Section titled “What the other person sees”They approve once per sharing session. After that they see every command before it runs and can stop everything with Ctrl+C or the stop button. Everything goes to their log, without the commands’ output.
