This website
We don’t use cookies to follow you and we don’t store your IP address. To know whether the site is useful, we count visits, downloads and taps on Download from a phone. For each one we store:
- the date and time, and which page language or installer it was;
- your operating system (Windows, macOS, Linux, Android or iOS), read from your browser;
- your country, as reported by Cloudflare;
- the site you came from, if any (for example, linkedin.com);
- a visitor code for that day: a one-way hash of your IP address, your browser and the date, with a secret. It can’t be turned back into your IP and it changes every day, so nobody can follow you from one day to the next.
The site sets only two cookies, and only in these cases: lang, if you choose a language yourself, so we remember it; and a session cookie for the private statistics panel, which only
the site administrator uses.
The site runs on Cloudflare, which handles every request to deliver it.
The FeuSh app
- Your terminal, screen and files don’t go through us. The connection is end-to-end encrypted between the two computers. When the network doesn’t allow a direct connection, traffic goes through a relay that can’t read it.
-
Short numbers. When you share, FeuSh also publishes a 9-digit number for your computer in a small directory (
dir.feush.com), so it can be dictated over the phone. The directory sees the IP address of the computers that register or look up a number, and which number belongs to which ID. It never sees the password or any traffic. To skip it, share withfeu share --no-directory; people then connect with the long ID. - The log stays on your computer. It records who connected, what ran, when and how it ended. Never the output of the commands, your screenshots or the contents of your files.
